  • our goals

    • To participate in promoting the role of the intellectual in professional development;
    • To maintain communication among alumni through professional programs such as seminars, workshops, and a professional network;
    • To increase participation of EWC alumni in Indonesia in EWC activities;
    • To fulfill these goals, EWCA-Bali Chapter has hosted EWC Presidents and key staff members;
    • To financially support selected EWC students and assisted fellow alumni family members in promoting their education; and to hold monthly meeting of the Jakarta Board.

    2020 YSEALI Seeds for the Future Grants Competition

    YSEALI Seeds for the Future is a small grants competition for young leaders in Southeast Asia. The competition, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, provides funding of up to $15,000 for the region’s most promising young leaders to carry out projects that improve their communities, countries and the region. Projects cover one of the four YSEALI themes: Civic Engagement, Economic Growth, Education, and Sustainable Development.

    Aumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF)

    The Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) provides small grants to teams of past and current participants of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to carry out public service projects using the skills and knowledge they gained during their exchange experiences. Since it began in 2011, AEIF has supported more than 360 alumni-led initiatives around the world and reached millions of people both directly and indirectly through trainings, awareness campaigns, and leadership and empowerment programs. In 2017, the State Department awarded 68 grants of up $25,000 to alumni teams worldwide to support their public service projects. From mentoring youth in social entrepreneurship to creating clubs that promote religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, alumni around the world are leading their communities with innovative solutions to global challenges.
